Crosland + Emmons Sculptural Lighting is a boutique lighting studio located in Savannah Georgia. Founded by Dana Castle-Duguay amid the craziness of life and the uncertainty of the world.
“Ceramics have been a place of surrender and peace, being mostly self-taught has allowed me to spend endless hours in discovery- not only in discovery of the ceramic materials but pushing the limits of lighting and balance and the assembly needed to combine both ceramics and light”.
Each Crosland + Emmons fixture begins with single pieces mimicking the shapes of nature, drawn to the beauty of imperfection, these lighting creations are a connection between beauty and functionality.
To Castle, lighting is the completion point to a space. It is part of the canvas of a room. Her designs are intentionally off balance and should be adjusted according to spatial needs, allowing it to only find an identity and purpose when it is finally home. The journey ends when these sculptural pieces are where they belong
