Intervention Floor Lamp

Designed by Anna Karlin

Anna Karlin works across all mediums, not only the furniture + lighting collections but her studio practice encompasses everything from digital and print to interiors and set design.

She believes strongly that all the disciplines contribute wonderfully to each other and therefore no one area must remain untouched. Her studio practice and Anna Karlin Furniture + Fine Objects are the result of this sensibility.

This lamp explores the relationship between glass and light, subverting it’s normal interaction. Light is normally an ethereal concept while glass a hard casing. Here glass becomes the softer of the two in the partnership and the light becomes an invention in the sculpture. The light becomes a graphic line in the transparent form.
